The more than 30 remote-contolled robots werethere as part of Florida's BEST Robotics (Boosting Engineering,Science and Technology) Competition for middle and high schoolstudents hosted by the credit union. The theme of this year'scompetition was genetics, with students expected to design theirrobots to simulate the breaking down of DNA molecules. EasternFinancial was chosen as host because it donated $15,000 for thecompetition.
