Three of the suspects were captured after the credit union heists, while a fourth was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after police lobbed tear gas into a home he was hiding in. Police said the dead suspect, identified as 20-year-old Demarcus Pittman, was the ringleader of the group that committed a string of robberies at financial institutions and pawn shops in which they wore masks and costumes to hide their identities.

The three suspects taken into custody are charged with being accessories to robbery.
