LIVONIA, Mich. – Over the next few weeks Co-op Services Credit Union here will be teaming up with a number of local gas stations to offer lower prices on fuel.
As part of the credit union’s “Fuel Your Dreams Gas Giveaway,” it is joining with gas stations located near each of its six branches to lower the price of gas by $0.25 per gallon. The reduced pricing is available to both members and non-members with a limit of 30 gallons each, beginning at 11 a.m. at the first participating station and will last and until 4,000 gallons have been sold. Co-op Services said it will announce the locations of other participating stations on its website at www.cscu.org.
Co-op Services’ promotion is just the latest by a number of credit unions across the country to offer discounts on gasoline to everyone in the community. Numerous other credit unions are using gas cards as premiums on loan and savings products.
