LEBANON, Ore. – Linn County FCU is delivering the moon and the stars to its community later this week.
The credit union is sponsoring the 11th Annual Star Gazing Extravaganza at the Mallard Creek Golf Course here on Oct. 8. Refreshments will be served and a speaker from the Heart of the Valley Astronomy Club will address attendees, followed by a drawing for a new Orion Telescope (must be a CU member to enter the drawing).
The evening will conclude with the opportunity to look through huge telescopes that will be provided by volunteer Entek employees.
