CUNA Mutual Donates $100,000 To Clean Lakes Initiative

MADISON, Wis. CUNA Mutual Group said its CUNA Mutual Foundation is contributing $100,000 to the Clean Lakes Alliance to help fund the “Renew the Blue” project cleaning Madison-area lakes.

The group hopes to reduce the phosphorus content in local lakes by 50% over the next 20 years.

CUNA Mutual will present the grant to the Clean Lakes Alliance at an annual summit at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center. The summit will include a report by the CLA on the state of area lakes.
