CUNA Mutual Makes Senior-Level Changes

CUNA Mutual Group has named Don Davidson to lead its Credit Union System Relations area. Davidson will have primary accountability for building and strengthening relationships with leagues, corporate credit unions and associations, and will succeed David Cry, who retired at year-end after a successful 30-plus-year career in serving credit unions with CUNA Mutual. Also a 30-year veteran of CUNA Mutual, Davidson worked under Cry's leadership in CU System Relations since 2000. Prior to that, he held leadership roles in the company's lending, human resources, direct marketing and international sales areas.

Separately, Susan J. Albrecht has joined CUNA Mutual Group as senior vice president of the company's International Division. Albrecht will replace Ralph Swoboda, the former president of CUNA who has been very active in China, who has left the company. Albrecht's career in the insurance industry spans more than 35 years, with more than 30 years at the St. Paul Companies, St. Paul, Minn.

Formed in 1962, CUNA Mutual's International Division serves credit unions in 20 nations with locally managed offices in China, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Trinidad, Great Britain, Australia and Canada and a representative in the Dominican Republic.
