CUNA Mutual Group in Madison, Wis., has received recognition for its ethical business policies.
CUNA Mutual has been named a World's Most Ethical Company for 2016 by the Ethisphere Institute. It's the third time in four years CUNA Mutual has received the acknowledgment.
CUNA Mutual was one of 131 companies selected for the notation, among all companies considered in 21 countries and 54 industries.
“Building a strong culture of ethics, compliance practices and corporate social responsibility is vitally important to our company,” Robert Trunzo, chief executive, said in a news release.
Ethisphere scores companies on factors including ethics and compliance programs, corporate citizenship, ethical culture, governance, and leadership, innovation and reputation.
