WASHINGTON-CUNA last week honored state associations for excellence in public relations, marketing and advertising during the American Association of CU Leagues' 2010 Communicators/GAPS Conference. Winners included:
* The California and Nevada leagues won the "Best of Show" Pro award.
* First place Blockbuster awards went to the Louisiana league for Best Print Materials; Maine league for Best Campaign (with a budget of $10,000 or less); and Georgia CU Affiliates for Best CU Ad.
* Blow Your Own Horn: Pennsylvania CUA* Best Public Relations Project: California and Nevada leagues
* Best Piece on the Uniqueness of CUs, Wisconsin league.
* Best Website: Louisiana league
* Best On-line Publication: New Jersey league
* Best Use of Social Media: New Jersey league
