HOUSTON – PrimeWay Federal Credit Union has created a microsite on its own website to help Houstonians who have been laid off from their jobs.
Called “LaidoffinHouston.com,” the site includes free financial counseling resources, financial advice, tips on networking, interviewing and preparing a resume, links for state unemployment and job searches, as well as financial advice, and tips on interviewing and networking. PrimeWay FCU also is offering free consultations with its financial planners.
“Whether you were caught in recent downsizing or if you are just worried about potential layoffs, this site was designed with you in mind,” the credit union says on the site. “The goal of this site is to help you identify how you can adjust your savings and investments to help you through this difficult time without depleting your assets. You will find financial tips, partners with job listings and sound financial counseling offerings to assist you through this time.”
