Desert Schools FCU Funds Elementary Students Math Test Prep

PHOENIX – Desert Schools FCU contributed $5,000 to Balsz Elementary School to help fund programs that prepare students for AIMS Math testing and ongoing education.

The credit union also donated six personal computers and four laser-jet printers to the school.

The credit union’s multi-year partnership with Balsz provides opportunities for employees to mentor and teach students the basics of smart money management. In addition, Desert Schools participates in an annual Adopt-a-Classroom program during the holidays where employees volunteer their time and energy to help at-risk students succeed.
