PORTLAND, Ore. - (05/09/06) Centennial Software announcedMonday it contracted with three large credit unions to implementits DeviceWall to help control portable devices, like iPods, PDAsand Flash Drives, on the corporate network and to secure memberinformation from the threat of data theft. The credit unions are:Pennsylvania State Employees CU, Mountain America FCU and FinancialPartners CU. DeviceWall minimizes the threat of data leaks byallowing a credit union to create a white list of approved devicesassigned to specified members and groups. DeviceWall canautomatically encrypt data copied to USB flash drives either usingAES or Blowfish 256-bit encryption algorithms. DeviceWall alsoallows a credit union to see the potential threat from portabledevices by monitoring connection attempts in real time.
