Diamond CU Opens High School Branch

BOYERTOWN, Penn. – Diamond CU has signed an agreement with the Boyertown Area School District to open a branch in the Boyertown Area Senior High School.

The in-school branch is part of a financial education program aimed giving students a hands-on experience in a financial setting, showing what it is like to work in the business world.

The district and Diamond hope to have the program operational for the 2011-12 school year.

This is the $350 million credit union’s first in-school branch.
