WORCESTER, Mass. – The historic Bull Mansion, also known as the Grand Army of the Republic building, was sold yesterday at foreclosure auction by Digital FCU for $600,000.
The building, built in 1912, is home to the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, the heirs to the Grand Army of the Republic.
The building has been vacant since April, when the 55 Pearl restaurant closed.
The credit union held the mortgage for the stone building, which is assessed by the city at $702,000.
