REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – DigitalPersona said it signed five credit unions for its DigitalPersona Pro fingerprint authentication system.
They are: DATCU CU, Honda FCU, Mountain America CU, San Mateo CU and Travis CU.
The company said using DigitalPersona software at credit union teller workstations streamlines the processing of member requests by eliminating the time-consuming manual input of usernames and passwords. It said the solution provides an easy-to-use, intuitive interface that facilitates quick user adoption and reduces IT administrator requests. When used with strong authentication mechanisms, such as fingerprint biometrics, DigitalPersona Pro enables credit unions to more accurately link specific transactions to the people who perform them.
