DALLAS – A member of Resource One CU, angry over charges to her account, was arrested Friday after she threatened to blow up the credit union’s branch.
After the member, identified as Tasha Barnes, made the threat over the phone, Harris County Sheriff’s deputies were at the credit union to secure the building when Barnes arrived at the credit union.
Barnes said she went to the credit union to close her account, deputies said. The credit union was closed for a bomb sniffing dog to secure the branch before it was reopened for business.
Barnes, 32, is free on $4,500 for making a false report of a bomb.
