FLINT, Mich. – More than 9,000 members of Dort FCU availed themselves of a free night at the movies, courtesy of their credit union.
Dort has been offering a free movie day at local theatres in the Flint area for their members since 2002. Members can receive up to four free movie tickets each, simply by showing proof of membership via their membership card, ATM card, Debit card, or Visa Platinum credit card, or monthly statement.
"The members of Dort Federal love Movie Day and look forward to it every year," said Vicki Hawkins, president of the $400 million credit union. "With the current economic climate, it’s a great way for us to show our appreciation for their membership and provide our members with an opportunity to sit back, relax, and enjoy time out with their friends and family."
