MILWAUKEE – Metavante Technologies yesterday reported that second quarter earnings fell almost 16% to $36.9 million, or 31 cents a share.
The company, which last year was spun off from Marshall & Ilsley Corp., reported a 7% rise in revenues to $424.8 million, driven by higher transaction volumes in its payments business.
Through the first six months of the year, Metavante reported a 22% decline in earnings to $71.9 million, or 60 cents a share. Revenues for the first six months were up 9% to $849.4 million.
