The $300-million credit union changed its name in January and is in the process of changing signs at its seven locations. The signs and other name-change costs will be approximately $75,000.

Films by three El Paso filmmakers entered in the credit union’s film contest with the theme “evolution” will be shown at the film festival at Evolve’s main branch today free to the public:

* Manny Mendoza submitted three films under the name, “Evolution in Filmmaking,” including one about the life of a deaf child and how his family’s perception of the child evolved over time.
* Luis Galindo’s “The Package” is a spin-off of a horror movie and shows the evolution of a relationship between siblings.
* Robert Tibuni’s “Rosemary Girard” shows how the relationship between a grandmother and grandchild evolves.

The films will be posted on YouTube and Facebook after the screening.
