ALBANY, N.Y. – Three credit unions will receive a total of $360,000 targeted for women and minorities under New York’s Empire State Development program. The grants will help the credit unions make more loans to women and minority-owned businesses. The credit unions are: Alternatives FCU, in Ithaca; Syracuse Cooperative FCU and Bethex FCU, in the Bronx.
