TUCSON, Ariz. – A woman was arrested in connection with a robbery this week after employees at Hughes FCU recognized her and told police where she lives.
The suspect allegedly walked into the credit union branch Monday around 2:15 p.m., then ran away with an undisclosed amount of money after handing a demand note to a teller, police said.
The robber was gone by the time police arrived about five minutes after the emergency call. But credit union employees told officers they recognized the robber, giving police the address of a nearby home.
The suspect, Stephanie Connor, 26, was arrested on suspicion of bank robbery and was being held at the Pima County Jail Tuesday in lieu of $15,000 bail.
