EMPORIA, Kan. – Emporia State FCU donated $20,000 to Flint Hills Technical College to help with the cost for construction of the Jones Education Center.
The Jones Education Center is a cooperative project among Flint Hills Technical College, Kansas State University and Emporia USD 253 school district.
Once completed, the center will be used to help teach occupational life skills to high school students with special needs, from USD 253 and outlying communities.
