Enrichment FCU Taps New President/CEO

Enrichment Federal Credit Union, a $425-million institution based in Oak Ridge, Tenn., said Craig Peters will be promoted from executive vice president to president and CEO, effective April 1.

Peters will succeed M. Wayne Hope, who is retiring after a 39-year career—22 of them as president and CEO—at Enrichment FCU (formerly called K-25 FCU.

Under Hope's leadership, the credit union's asset base more than doubled from has $190 million.

Peters, a CPA, received his accounting degree from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Eastern Kentucky University. He joined Enrichment FCU in 2013 as executive vice president. Prior to joining the credit union, he had a 30-year career as a CPA in the financial services industry.

"I am confident that the credit union will continue to prosper under Craig's guidance and their leadership," said Patsy Hamby, Enrichment FCU's board chair.
