The Texas Credit Union Foundation (TCUF) has established the Richard L. Ensweiler Fund to support Hispanic outreach. Ensweiler is Texas league president and CUNA's new board chair. The dividends from the Ensweiler community investment fund (CIF) will go specifically to Hispanic outreach efforts, which has long been an interest of Ensweiler, who told The Credit Union Journal on the day he was elected chair that reaching out to Hispanics would be part of his emphasis during his term.
Funds will go to state efforts determined by the TCUF and national efforts determined by the NCUF.
