'Excellence in Lending' Awards Now Taking Applications

The CUNA Lending Council and CUNA Mutual Group are now accepting applications for their annual Excellence in Lending Awards.

Credit unions with innovative lending strategies for meeting members' needs are encouraged to apply, and awards are given based on distinction in business lending, consumer lending, and low-to-modest-means lending for 2016. Applicants are evaluated based on a points system for strategy, programs and performance.

The awards were established in 2000 to recognize credit unions for their ability to serve members while sustaining sound financial performance.

The winners are announced at the annual CUNA Lending Council Conference, scheduled to be held in Las Vegas from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2. Entry forms must be submitted online by Sept. 12. Learn more and apply at the CUNA Lending Council's website.
