Executive Jailed for $106,000 CU Theft

HAWTHORNE, Nev. – The former chief operating officer at Financial Horizons CU was sentenced Wednesday to one to four years in prison for stealing more than $106,000 from the credit union. Carla Trujillo, 28, transferred the funds to her own account and other accounts over 30 months and used the funds for her own use, authorities said. Trujillo, of Hawthorne, formerly worked as president of finance and operations at the credit union.
