Michael Boester, 34, in January pleaded guilty to a single charge of attempted robbery. Boester was sentenced to six years in prison but had two years suspended.

Boester’s girlfriend, Molly Hutmacher, 23, was given a term of probation after she pleaded guilty to attempted bank robbery for driving the getaway car.

Boester went in to rob the credit union, but a member elbowed him and then chased him outside. The member then memorized the license plate number of the vehicle driven by Hutmacher.
