JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Fidelity National Information Services, which was created from last year’s merger with Certegy Inc., yesterday said it has agreed to sell its Certegy Australia division for $30 million as part of its strategy to get rid of non-core assets.
Fidelity National said Flexigroup Ltd. would buy Certegy's assets and manage the unit's collection of outstanding customer accounts. The unit provides retail lending services to consumers.
Fidelity National spun off its Lender Processing Services Inc. lender processing unit on July 2.
