Financial services veteran takes the helm at F&A Federal Credit Union

Tim Green has been named president and CEO of F&A Federal Credit Union, Monterey Park, Calif., following the retirement of CEO Richard Andrews.

Green has more than a dozen years’ experience in the financial services industry, along with five years’ experience as an accountant and auditor. He most recently worked as executive vice president and chief financial officer of KeyPoint Credit Union, a $1.29 billion-asset institution based in Santa Clara, Calif.

Andy Doyle, the credit union’s board chair, stated that Green has a “strong leadership and management background” and that his “experience and understanding of the credit union philosophy will add enormous value to the F&A Federal Credit Union membership.”

Green holds a Bachelor of Arts from Evergreen State College, in Olympia, Wash.

According to the credit union’s Chairman’s Shareholder Report, F&A’s former president and CEO Richard Andrews had held the chief executive position since March 1986. Just prior to his arrival, the credit union had $115 million in assets. F&A now has about $1.66 billion in assets.

The credit union generated net incomes of about $15.6 million in each of the past two calendar years.
