First Capital Federal Credit Union, a $167-million institution based in York, Pa., hosted an event in conjunction with the York County Economic Alliance to introduce its new president and CEO, Sue DeStephano.
DeStephano, whose appointment to the top job was announced in October, started her career as a loan officer in 1989 at York Tracktown Employees Credit Union. In 1999, York Tracktown merged into First Capital FCU, at which time she became its lending manager.
In 2005, she was promoted to vice president of lending and in 2014 she moved into the role of vice president of operations to oversee branch operations, lending, collections, and business services.
She succeeded Dennis Flickinger as President and CEO on Jan. 1.
