GROVEPORT, Ohio – First Service CU is kicking off Military Appreciation month by offering all active members of the military a quarter-point discount on rates for new consumer loans.

Whether it’s collecting items in office lobbies to send to troops overseas or assisting with welcoming troops back home, First Service said it has always taken an active role in showing its appreciation for the service and sacrifice of the men and women in uniform.
The credit union was chartered in 1956 as Lockbourne FCU to serve personnel assigned to Lockbourne Air Force Base. It now serves all of Franklin County, which surrounds the city of Columbus.
