BROOKFIELD, Wis. – Fiserv yesterday said net income for its third quarter rose 9% to $13.9 million on strong sales growth.
Third quarter revenues were up 5% to $1.1 billion, compared to the same quarter last year. “Internal revenue growth accelerated in the quarter as anticipated, and is in line with our expectations for the full year,” said Jeffery Yabuki, president of Fiserv.
In the third quarter Fiserv signed 141 Mobiliti mobile banking clients and has added nearly 1,300 mobile banking clients to date. It signed 113 Popmoney P2P clients and the network now includes more than 1,700 financial institutions.
For the first three quarters of the year Fiserv reported a 5% rise in revenue to $3.3 billion, and a 30% surge in net income to $438 million.
