Fiserv's IRD Seal Aids Check Authentication

Fiserv, has introduced the IRD Seal, a product it says helps authenticate substitute checks, prevent fraud and expedite research as financial institutions operate under Check 21. Developed along with Enseal Systems Ltd., IRD Seal is an image survivable security feature that contains encoded information specific to the substitute check, including the original MICR information and the truncating and re-converting bank information. IRD Seal will be part of Fiserv's proven Secure Seal.
