ATLANTA – Delta Community CU said this morning that Hank Halter, a current credit union director and former chief financial officer at its main sponsor, Delta Air Lines, will pilot the $4.3 billion credit union while it searches for a permanent successor to Rick Foley.
Halter worked at Delta Air Lines from 1998 to 2012, the last four as CFO, and worked at American Airlines and Ernst & Young before that.
“We want to take the time to find the right candidate who can build on the success we have achieved over the past few years,” said Jim Diffley, chairman of the board. “We are fortunate to have someone with Hank’s experience available to step in at this time.”
Foley retired Dec. 31, after 26 years with the one-time airline employees’ credit union, the past eight as CEO.
