Georgia CU Doubles Skip-A-Payment Program

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Saying it was reacting to ongoing economic issues, Gwinnett FCU here has expanded its Skip-A-Payment program to allow members to skip two payments during 2009, up from the previous limit of one.

“As the credit union serving two colleges, seven public school systems, and numerous county and municipal entities, we understand that with budget cuts and furloughs, some of our members are having a hard time making ends meet,” said President Marshall Boutwell.
