GARDNER, Mass. – As the premier sponsor of the city of Gardner's 225th Anniversary Celebration, GFA FCU ran three contests awarding $225 cash prizes and a pair of Red Sox tickets.
At the city's 225th Live Music and Fireworks event, visitors to GFA's tent took a shot at winning a pair of Red Sox tickets. Entrants tried to guess the exact dollar value inside a large jar of coins. The actual amount was $712.78 and the closest guess was $710, winning the tickets.
Throughout June, visitors to each of the credit union’s branches had the opportunity to enter their names in a drawing for $225.
