Golden 1 Promotes CFO To CEO

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Golden 1 CU announced Friday that Donna Bland, its chief financial officer, will serve as president and CEO of the $8 billion credit union after the departure of Teresa Halleck for San Diego Community CU.

Bland, a senior vice president, has been with the credit union for 16 years.

The credit union is not currently searching for a permanent successor to Halleck. “The board has given Donna its full support and confidence to carry out all of the duties of our CEO. As a result, we will forego a search for other candidates at this time,” said Pedro Reyes, chairman of the credit union’s board.
