Government Printing Office FCU Names CU Vet CEO

WASHINGTON – The Government Printing Office FCU has hired Timothy Anderson, who has worked as an executive with several area credit unions, as president and CEO of the $33 million credit union.

Prior to assuming his new duties, Anderson worked in several local area credit unions, including Senate FCU and Treasury Department FCU, as well as several banks. Most recently he managed his own consulting firm, with an emphasis on financial literacy and personal fiscal management.

The credit union originally was chartered to serve employees of the U.S. Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C., and also serves GPO’s retirees and cafeteria employees, select groups in the areas of Southeast, Southwest, Northeast and most of Northwest Washington.
