RENO, Nev. – Another ailing Nevada credit union may disappear through merger with a proposed deal for $114-million Great Basin FCU to acquire $13-million Sparks City Employees FCU.
The smaller credit union reported a loss of $147,000 for 2011 and a loss of $187,000 for 2010.
Great Basin, which at one time also reported losses, said the three employees of Sparks City Employees FCU will remain with Great Basin.
