RALEIGH, N.C. – State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) has made changes to its “green” vehicle loan program to include vehicles that get better mileage.
The program, which previously had offered loan discounts only on new hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles, now offers a 1% discount on new and used cars that get 28 miles per gallon or better.
SECU has had a green loan program in place since December 2006.
