Greylock FCU Sponsors Norman Rockwell Exhibit

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The work of Norman Rockwell and three generations of Rockwells will be on display locally this summer, thanks to Greylock FCU.

In addition to the work of Norman Rockwell at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, the work of his son, Jarvis Rockwell, and his granddaughter, Daisy Rockwell, will be on display in North Adams this summer and fall as part of DownStreet Art, which is produced by the Berkshire Culture Resource Center. The program is made possible through lead sponsorship support provided by Greylock FCU and its Greylock Investment Group CUSO, with additional support provided by Adams Co-Operative Bank, Berkshire Bank and the City of North Adams.

The Third Annual DownStreet Art will kick off in downtown North Adams on Thursday, June 24, 6-9 p.m., with a block party celebrating the arts. There will be gallery exhibition openings, street musicians and specials at local businesses. The event is free and open to the public. All of the participating artists will be in attendance, including Daisy Rockwell, granddaughter of the famous painter.
