PORTLAND, Maine – Hannaford Associates FCU, tainted by the nationwide data security breach at its corporate sponsor Hannaford Bros. supermarket that touched hundreds of credit unions and banks, announced it is changing its name while doubling its size to $68 million by combining with nearby Alliance of Maine FCU.
The new name of the credit union will be Trademark FCU.
The merger is scheduled to be completed on Oct. 1.
