HarborOne CU Donates $22,000 To Local Charities

BROCKTON, Mass. – HarborOne CU has contributed $22,000 to local charities, including $8,500 in support of Old Colony YMCA's 2010 "Strong Kids Campaign."

The credit union also donated $2,500 to Catholic Charities South to support its "Evening of Irish Revelry" fundraiser and help the nonprofit support children and families in Brockton and surrounding communities.

My Brother's Keeper Building Community 2010 Mission Appeal was given $2,000 to help the group deliver furniture, household items and food, free of charge, to those who seek assistance. The Old Colony Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Brockton Visiting Nurse Association each received $1,000.

In addition, the following donations were made: $2,000 each to Signature Health Care and the Brockton Interfaith Community; $1,000 each to the Cape Verdean Association, the Fuller Craft Museum and the Canton Association of Industries Road Race.
