BROCKTON, Mass. – HarborOne CU said it has installed Datacard Group’s CardWizard software to instantly issue Visa debit cards on demand at the branch level.
Activation is immediate, so members can start using their debit cards within minutes of opening a checking account or requesting a replacement debit card, the company said.
The $1.8 billion credit union has implemented Datacard’s CardWizard in all of its 15 New England branches, with the goal to drive activation and usage rates up for its debit card program, eliminate the cost, risk and delay of sending cards through the mail, and improve overall member satisfaction levels. The credit union said it chose CardWizard software – which is PCI PA-DSS compliant – because of its ability to interface with HarborOne’s core banking technology, enabling easy implementation for automated instant issue, PIN selection, re-PIN and instant activation.
Datacard purchased the CardWizard technology last year when it acquired Dynamic Card Solutions.
