BROCKTON, Mass. – HarborOne CU has implemented Network Equipment Technologies’ VX Series switch to extend the capabilities of its Voice Over Internet Protocol-VoIP-enabled, multi-branch environment.
The switch provides integration between HarborOne's Nortel PBX and its Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 environment.
NET's VX Series is a fully integrated multi-service voice switch that provides high-performance VoIP communications for enterprise OCS deployments. The VX Series interoperates with all leading PBX and IP-PBX vendor protocols, offering rapid deployment and easy installation, with minimal maintenance.
HarborOne's VoIP implementation is part of the company's broader strategy to create a collaborative environment throughout all of its branch locations to ensure effective, cost-efficient communication among its regionally dispersed operations. Included in HarborOne's decision to use the VX was the added functionality of the platform, including the interface with Active Directory, as well as NET's superior technical support.
