HONOLULU – Hawaii First FCU is opening a new community center in the Hilo Shopping Center that will offer residents a variety of free services, including computer access, financial counseling and job seeking advice.
The community center, similar to one the credit union operates in Waimea, will open in November. It also will provide matched savings accounts for home ownership, education or small business, foreclosure assistance, free income tax preparation, small business development support, and homebuyer education.
