JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Healthcare Cooperative CU has named Rose Gunter, its chief operating officer, as new president and CEO of the $110 million credit union.
Gunter will succeed Maury Pilver, who is retiring in December, after heading the credit union for 28 years.
Pilver expanded Healthcare Cooperative from its original field of membership serving BlueCross and BlueShield to include every major health center and hospital in North Florida as well as Daytona Beach and Boca Raton. It was also the first credit union in the nation to offer the Health Savings Accounts.
