MOLINE, Ill. - (01/26/05) -- The Quad City Mallards of the minorleague United Hockey League said its recent Credit Union Night FoodDrive raised 730 pounds of food for Riverbend Food Bank, which willdistribute it to local charities to feed the hungry. The minorleague hockey team also raised $400 for Riverbend Food Bank's KidsCafĚ, which provides free meals to kids at risk of hunger.Ten area credit unions participated: Aegis CU, Deere Harvester CU,DuTrac CU, Gas & Electric CU, HON Industries Community CU, KONEEmployees CU, Moline Municipal CU, RIA CU, River City Community CUand Service Plus CU.
