How to apply for the Best Credit Unions to Work For 2023

American Banker is now accepting applications for the Best Credit Unions to Work For 2023.

This annual program honors credit unions that are an employer of choice and that offer employees a strong benefits package, effective leadership and a welcoming environment. The list is compiled in partnership with the Best Companies Group. 

Participation is free. To be considered for the Best Credit Unions to Work For ranking, applicants must have at least 15 employees working in the U.S. and have been in business for at least a year. 

To compile the list, Best Companies Group will complete two assessments of the credit union applicants. First, credit unions will complete a thorough questionnaire about employee benefits and policies. Second, employees will take an in-depth survey about their experience working for the credit union. 

Last year's coverage included features highlighting specific credit unions in addition to leadership advice from management at the 70 honorees. These features can be viewed here.
