IC FCU Wins Gold For YouTube Videos

BOSTON – IC Federal Credit Union took a top prize at the New England Financial Marketing Association awards last week for its recent YouTube Gen Y campaign.

The $489-million CU won the gold in the $500-million-or-less category.

Following the release of “Credit Card Murphy – Behind the Plastic” in April, the videos went viral. Views currently number more than 700,000.

The CU said that the videos produced a significant increase in new Gen Y members. IC FCU was also recently named No. 1 by the Financial Brand in its Top 100 YouTube list.
