Indiana Members CU Raises $53,000 In School Supplies

INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Members CU members raised a total of more than $53,000 in its school supply campaign, which will provide 3,000 backpacks and school supplies to underprivileged children.

The credit union raised enough money to donate more than 72,500 supplies, which included: backpacks, notebooks, rulers, scissors, calculators, folders, colored pencils, crayons, markers, pens, pencils, erasers, art boxes, pencil sharpeners and glue.

Employees volunteered their time to fill the backpacks at their “Stuffing Party” on Aug. 8 at Primo South Banquet & Conference Center.
